Sacramento Navigators, also known as SacNav, is a nationally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that assists individuals experiencing homelessness in Sacramento. Our program has expanded from its original creation as the River District Public Spaces Program to include outreach to more areas, engaging more willing participants, and helping more individuals regain rich and fulfilling lives.

Partnering with local property business improvement districts, local governments, and local businesses and chambers, we create a support network for each team member.
Bridgett Dean, from the City of Sacramento, and Jenna Abbott, the Executive Director of the River District Property Business Improvement District, along with the backing of their respective boards, joined forces to establish a new program called The Public Spaces Team.
A key objective for every team member is to transition from the shelter system into their private housing.
